Cat Chidester is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Southern California. Her inspiration comes from a great interest in human behavior, psychology, the mundane, and relationships shaped from everyday life. She has attended California State University, Northridge receiving her BA ’13, and MA ’15 in Studio Arts with a focus in ceramics, and later Pacific Northwest College of Art in partnership with the former Oregon College of Art & Craft, receiving her MFA in Applied Craft + Design in ’17. She currently makes work in her studio in the Foothills of the San Gabriel Valley.
